Against the backdrop of sorrow and upheaval in Iran, caused by the aggression of the USA and Israel over the past year, conductor Paniz Fariusefi turned to music to express collective grief while simultaneously offering hope and solidarity.
In November 2025, she became the first woman since the Islamic Revolution to officially conduct the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. Following this, she organized a concert by the Vivo Orchestra dedicated to Iranian works.
