Anar Makasheva, President of the Kazakh Automobile Union, noted that further fleet renewal largely depends on the availability of financing. According to her, increasing interest rates on car loans increases the financial burden on buyers and may curb demand. The Kazakh Automobile Union believes it is necessary to develop programs for manufacturers and dealers, as well as tools such as trade-in and leasing, which will allow owners to replace old cars with new ones.
