Information has emerged that delighted fans of The Creamery: the stores will not only remain open but will also develop with new energy.
This statement was made several weeks after reports surfaced about the possible closure of the chain after fifteen years of operation. Tuesday saw the publication of a statement from Food Lover's Market, revealing that The Creamery stores are operating, and the reaction to the closure plans was very strong. Loyal customers sent messages, shared memories, and called for the business to be preserved.
The group stated: 'We have very good news. The Creamery is moving forward with new energy, an updated focus, and great appetite for what lies ahead. We are not ready to reveal all the details yet, but we cannot wait to share some more very soon.'
The Creamery belongs to Food Lover's Market through its subsidiary, Seattle Coffee Company. This change occurred after The Creamery announced in July the closure of its remaining Cape Town stores after 15 years of activity.
Previously, Food Lover's Market explained that its overall business priorities had changed, and The Creamery no longer fit into the company's long-term strategic direction. Nevertheless, at that time, the company reported receiving interest from several parties interested in the brand's future.
