The administration of the Fergana Region announced plans for the region to establish production of specialized precast reinforced concrete products, utilizing local raw materials and South Korean technologies.
A delegation led by the Governor of the Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited SEONGEUN SPECIAL CONCRETE CO., LTD, located in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do Province, Republic of Korea.
Production for Engineering Infrastructure
The company was founded in 2013 and specializes in manufacturing specialized precast reinforced concrete structures for urban and rural infrastructure, including underground utility networks. Currently, the company operates three factories.
The production facilities manufacture reinforced concrete pipes for sewage, stormwater drainage, and irrigation, well blocks, open concrete drainage channels, and other specialized products. This product is supplied to both state and private customers and complies with the requirements of the Republic of Korea national standard KS, as well as K-mark quality certification.
Company head Park Gye-young presented the delegation with production processes, product technical specifications, quality control systems, and modern applied technologies.
Korean Technologies in the Fergana Region
Khayrullo Bozorov familiarized himself with the production processes and finished products, paying particular attention to the experience of using durable reinforced concrete structures in the development of engineering and utility infrastructure in urban and rural settlements.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the potential for cooperation with SEONGEUN SPECIAL CONCRETE CO., LTD, the implementation of Korean standards and technologies in the Fergana Region, and the creation of local production of specialized reinforced concrete products. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, and the parties identified promising directions for implementing joint projects.
