Meta launches Meta One in Brazil with subscription plans reaching up to R$ 1,999 monthly

On Tuesday, September 15th, Meta introduced Meta One in Brazil, a service that consolidates its various subscription offerings. This package includes the Plus versions of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, in addition to featuring Meta AI functionalities, with prices ranging between R$ 7 and R$ 1,999 per month. The most affordable cost to subscribe to all three services simultaneously is R$ 32 monthly.

It is important to note that these subscriptions do not replace the free versions of Meta's social networks; they add over 50 features distributed across the platforms. Despite this, none of the plans eliminates the display of advertisements. Helen Ma, executive responsible for Meta's subscriptions area, explained that the purpose of these plans is to provide extra resources and functionalities aimed at professional use.

Some premium services, such as Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus, had already been tested in Brazilian territory in previous months. During a press conference attended by Tecnoblog, the executive stated that the plans already had 15 million subscribers. Furthermore, users of Meta Verified will undergo a gradual migration to Meta One.

Meta structured the subscriptions into three main groups: plans intended for isolated applications, combined packages, and specific options for content creators and businesses. The values established in Brazil are as follows:

Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus provide additional benefits for Stories, messages, and personalization, costing R$ 10 monthly. WhatsApp Plus focuses on messenger customization and has a price of R$ 7 per month.

The other services are offered in packages, and their costs depend on the consumer profile. For example, the Core and Premium plans combine the three Plus versions into a single package but add access to Meta's artificial intelligence tools, such as image creation and editing, video production, Restyle, and vocal effects on Instagram.

For content creators and businesses, plans start at R$ 59 monthly. The Essential plan offers a verification badge, protection against identity fraud, and access to the Meta Business Agent, which has the ability to automatically respond to customers via WhatsApp.

The Advanced level expands functionalities, including the ability to schedule Stories, add links to posts and Reels, obtain exportable analytics, and access more detailed audience data. This plan also allows the account to be shared with team members without needing to expose the password.

The most sophisticated plans, Expert and Maximum, are designed for larger operations and offer superior capacity from the Meta Business Agent. The company itself indicated that these plans were conceived 'for teams managing large-scale operations.'

Finally, the company announced that it will launch 'soon' Edits Plus, a new plan dedicated to the video editing application. This subscription will guarantee greater cloud storage space and access to the future Edits assistant, which helps analyze Instagram metrics and generate new ideas. However, Meta has not yet disclosed the price or the exact date of this launch.
