As part of the collaboration between Jio and Canva, Jio users will receive free access to the premium version of the Canva design application for one year, with functionality available in Indian languages.
Users can activate access to Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite through the MyJio application. Kiran Thomas, President of Reliance Industries Limited, stated in a joint announcement that thanks to Canva, world-class AI-powered design tools will become available to millions of Indians for free and with just a few taps via MyJio.
He emphasized that this will allow every student, creator, entrepreneur, and small business to develop, learn, and earn in digital India in the language most convenient for them.
Canva provides millions of premium templates, as well as AI-supported design tools that can be used to create professional presentations and advertising materials.
Canva Co-founder and COO Cliff Obrecht noted that the partnership with Jio marks a new important stage in the company's development in India, helping to spread Canva's capabilities among a larger number of people across the country and giving anyone the opportunity to bring their ideas to life, communicate, and create.
