The 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro is available for R$ 8,048 when paid via Pix at the Magazine Luiza store. This Apple device, equipped with a 120 Hz OLED screen and 48 MP cameras, received a 30% discount off its original price of R$ 11,499, taking advantage of the period before the new iPhone 18 Pro arrives in stores.
Although the iPhone 17 Pro shares characteristics with the recently approved iPhone 18 Pro, the main distinction lies in the cameras. Both models have a main sensor set of 48 MP, but the updated model features lenses with variable apertures in the wide configuration, in addition to OIS, ultrawide, and telephoto with 4x optical zoom. The 18 MP Center Stage front camera remains identical on both devices.
Another notable difference is in the internal processor: the iPhone 17 Pro uses the A19 Pro chip, while the 18 Pro comes equipped with the 2 nm A20 Pro. The latter promises a 20% increase in CPU performance and 40% in GPU performance compared to the previous generation. In terms of memory, both devices feature 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display is common to both models, featuring 120 Hz ProMotion and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring vibrant colors and high fluidity in transitions, while maintaining good visibility in any environment.
Both bodies are constructed from aluminum and feature Ceramic Shield 2 glass on both sides, providing resistance to drops and impacts. IP68 certification ensures protection against intense dust and accidental submersion. The iPhone 18 Pro has recently been approved for commercialization in Brazil.
Regarding the battery, the iPhone 18 Pro has a capacity of 4,056 mAh, higher than the 3,998 mAh of its predecessor. This translates to 36 hours of video playback for the newer model, compared to 31 hours for the 17 Pro. Furthermore, the latest model can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes using USB-C, whereas the 17 Pro takes 20 minutes to reach the same charge level.
Software and connectivity also differ: the iPhone 17 Pro operates with iOS 26, while the new iPhone 18 Pro ships with iOS 27. However, both support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.
