A presentation of new books by author Sobirjon Usmonov, dedicated to the history of the Syrdarya region, took place at the Information and Resource Center of the city of Gulistan. The event was held as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the journalist and public figure, a member of the Uzbekistan Journalists Association.
The new publications, titled 'History of the Syrdarya Region' and 'Heroes of Syrdarya,' were presented to the public.
Nigmatilla Yoldoshev received an award from the International Military Sports Council during the 'I World Military Challenge' competition.
During the competition among military wrestlers at the 'Olympic Village' sports complex located in Tashkent, Nigmatilla Yoldoshev, who is the head of the Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was honored with the honorary order of the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
Four-volume publications dedicated to the Uzbek language were presented at the Ministry of Mining and Geology. Among the books presented are 'Alisher Navoi Encyclopedia,' 'History of the Formation of Orthographic Rules of the Uzbek Literary Language,' and 'Dictionary of Uzbek Homonyms.'
