Uzbekistan and South Korea have jointly developed a portfolio that includes 120 projects, the total value of which is estimated at approximately $4 billion.
The discussion of these new initiatives took place during the Uzbekistan-Korea business forum held in Seoul. More than 300 delegates from government bodies and the business community of both nations participated in the event, including leaders of major trade, financial, and industrial enterprises.
A central point was the desire to deepen technological and investment cooperation. Uzbekistan proposed integrating its existing resources with Korean capital and technology to launch joint production and implement new projects.
The list of promising areas for cooperation is very broad and includes industry, energy, transport infrastructure, digital technologies, biotechnology, and microelectronics. Furthermore, Uzbekistan confirmed its readiness to provide all necessary conditions for the successful implementation of each planned project.
It was previously announced that relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea were agreed upon to transition to a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership.
