The Aster DM Healthcare group has agreed to invest in the International Modern Hospital (IMH), located in Dubai. This is the latest step in the company's broader investment program aimed at expanding its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The proposed deal will increase the number of hospitals in the group's network and will be part of an investment plan exceeding 1 billion dirhams over the next five years. Following the completion of the transaction, which still requires regulatory approvals, IMH will be integrated into the Aster network.
The acquisition will add another facility to the group's portfolio of hospitals in the UAE—a multi-specialty hospital with 116 beds located in the Al Mankhool area of Dubai. This move strengthens Aster's position in one of the region's fastest-growing healthcare markets.
