Marjan's CEO announced that the Marjan Beach complex, a mixed-use coastal area on Madjan Island, is planned to be completed within ten years, with the first phase expected to be ready in just two months.
Abulla Al Abdouli, CEO of the Marjan group, specified that earthworks for the first phase of Marjan Beach will be finished in the next two months. Key players such as Wasl, Omniyat, and Beyond are involved in the beach development, having secured plots and spaces on the site.
He noted that earthworks is the process of removing material, such as soil, to prepare the site for construction. Speaking about the project, Al Abdouli told Khaleej Times that it is a 'full 10-year program,' but they are currently working on the first phase within this zone.
The CEO called it 'one of the largest master plans ever launched in Ras Al Khaimah history,' covering an area of 85 million square feet, of which 6.5 million are green areas and public land. These comments were made by Al Abdouli at the Arabian Travel Market, where Marjan presented its new virtual platform for viewing various projects of the main developer, named Marjan Digital Universe.
This platform will allow potential investors to virtually interact with the developing landscape of the emirate, studying Marjan's master plans and projects.
The artificial archipelago Al Marjan Island, spanning 2.7 million square meters and consisting of four islands, will host the region's first integrated casino resort. Wynn Al Marjan, originally scheduled to open in March 2027, has postponed its opening date to September 2027, as announced by the CEO of the luxury Las Vegas resort in August.
Al Abdouli confirmed that all infrastructure projects on the island are 'on schedule,' although he admitted that some supply chain constraints have affected project timelines.
Marjan Beach is one of the emirate's most anticipated coastal projects. It will include luxury residences, hospitality, cultural, and lifestyle amenities. The master plan, 60 percent of which is allocated for residential development, will integrate various commercial and residential areas, including exclusive coastal enclaves and family-oriented districts.
