The Ministry of Transport announced the intention of Uzbekistan and the South Korean company Yooshin Engineering Corporation to develop a long-term partnership in the field of modern airport infrastructure. This cooperation may include attracting the company's experience and specialists to the project of the new Tashkent International Airport.
Uzbekistan's Minister of Transport Ilhom Makhamov discussed interaction issues with the Chairman of Yooshin Engineering Corporation, Jeong Kyung-soo, in Seoul on September 13. This meeting took place within the framework of the Central Asia and Republic of Korea Summit.
The parties discussed the possibilities of utilizing the extensive experience of the South Korean corporation gained during the construction of Incheon International Airport. Special attention was paid to involving highly qualified specialists from Yooshin Engineering Corporation in the implementation of the new Tashkent International Airport project.
Furthermore, the participants in the negotiations considered the prospects of creating long-term cooperation for the development of modern airport infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
