How to make homemade hair conditioner from natural ingredients instead of expensive store-bought products

After washing hair with shampoo, most people use conditioner to keep their hair silky and soft throughout the day. However, many commercial hair products contain chemicals such as silicone, parabens, and sulfates. Although they can temporarily give hair shine, over time they make it dry, dull, and weak, in addition to being quite expensive.

If you want to avoid the harm from chemicals and give your hair a natural silkiness, softness, and shine, you can prepare a 100% natural and safe conditioner from ingredients available in the kitchen. This homemade conditioner deeply nourishes the hair, eliminates dryness, and gives it a soft, oil-like feel.

Ways to make natural hair conditioner at home

There are two simple ways to prepare natural conditioner at home.

1. Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil Conditioner (Suitable for all hair types)

For this recipe, you will need: fresh aloe vera gel — 2 tablespoons, coconut oil or almond oil — 1 teaspoon, and lemon juice — 4-5 drops. To make the paste, mix the aloe vera gel, coconut oil, and lemon juice in a bowl until a smooth consistency is achieved. After washing your hair, apply this mixture to damp strands (avoiding the scalp). Leave it on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse with regular water.

2. Yogurt and Honey Deep Moisturizing Conditioner (Ideal for dry and curly hair)

You will need: fresh thick yogurt — 3 tablespoons, honey — 1 tablespoon, and banana — 1/2 (mashed). First, thoroughly mash half a ripe banana to ensure there are no lumps. Then, mix it with yogurt and honey, beating until smooth. Apply this mixture to the length of your hair as a mask 20 minutes before washing, and then rinse with warm or regular water. This helps dry hair become instantly soft and manageable.

(Note: Before using any care regimen, remember to consult a dermatologist).
