Yamaha has implemented significant updates across much of its 2027 lineup in the Brazilian market, although the modifications vary considerably between models. Four motorcycles—the FZ15, Crosser, R3, and TT-R 230—received revisions ranging from substantial innovations, such as Full LED lighting and Bluetooth integration, to mere visual alterations limited to the addition of new colors and graphics.
A common point for the entire updated range is the application of the extended warranty package and the manufacturer's Fixed Price Review. It is important to note that none of these four bikes had changes to their engine, chassis, or fundamental concept; these are annual model updates, not new generation launches.
Details of Motorcycles Updated for the 2027 Lineup
The two entry-level bikes, classified as naked/trail, showed greater evolution. The Fazer FZ15 ABS Connected 2027 now features a complete Full LED lighting system, including projector headlight, position light, turn signals, and taillight. Additionally, a switch was included on the side stand, which prevents the motorcycle from operating with the stand down. This model also received new color options (Hyper Green, Space Blue, and Crystal White) and new graphics.
The Fazer maintains its 150 cm³ BlueFlex engine, equipped with a five-speed gearbox, generating 11.7 hp at 7,250 rpm on ethanol (and 11.6 hp on gasoline) and producing 1.3 kgf.m at 6,000 rpm. With an 11.9-liter tank, the declared range reaches approximately 590 km, as tested by the Mauá Institute of Technology. The setup is complemented by a digital 'Blackout' panel, connectivity via the Yamaha Motor On app, and a 12V socket, and is sold for R$ 21,490, free of shipping costs.
The Crosser ABS was further enhanced: in addition to the LED indicators completing the Full LED lighting, it now features Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha Motor On, a feature previously absent, transforming it into the Crosser ABS Connected. It also received the side stand switch and new graphics. Through the app, the rider can monitor average consumption, trip history, maintenance schedule, and the last paired location of the bike.
The entry-level trail line remains in two configurations. The Crosser S ABS Connected has a profile more geared towards urban use, characterized by a low front fender and black engine and swingarm. Meanwhile, the Crosser Z ABS Connected adopts a more adventurous look, featuring a high fender and silver engine. Both use the same 150 cm³ BlueFlex engine, which delivers 11.7 hp on ethanol (11.4 hp on gasoline) and 1.3 kgf.m, and have 12-liter tanks, ensuring over 500 km of range (equivalent to 43.1 km/l in the Mauá test). The Crosser S is available for R$ 22,890 (in Black Eclipse and Fire Red colors), and the Crosser Z for R$ 23,090 (in Pure Grey and Fire Red colors), both without shipping, with expected arrival at dealerships in September.
For the other two motorcycles, the changes for the 2027 line are predominantly aesthetic. The R3 ABS Connected, a sport model from the R-Series, received only new graphic options. It retains its 321 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, with eight valves and liquid cooling, generating 41.3 hp at 10,750 rpm and 3 kgf.m at 9,000 rpm. The model includes assisted and slipper clutch, Full LED lighting, digital panel, and Bluetooth connectivity. Available in Midnight Black and Racing Blue (the latter with the new graphics) for R$ 37,490, free of shipping, it is the only model in the line that offers four years of warranty.
Finally, the TT-R 230, an entry-level off-road bike, also underwent only one visual renewal: new graphics inspired by the YZ and WR competition models, in Competition Blue. It preserves its 223 cm³ air-cooled, four-stroke engine, with electric start and a six-speed gearbox, disc brake in the front and drum brake in the rear, 21″ and 18″ wheels, weighing 115 kg with fluids. Its price is R$ 20,590, without shipping or insurance costs.
In summary, all motorcycles come with three years of warranty and the Fixed Price Review, except for the R3, which has a four-year warranty period.
