The Tsukumo Kiln Ceramic Studio, located in the rural area of Kobe, Japan, was designed so that the ceramic manufacturing and firing processes coexist in proximity to the surrounding natural scenery.
Instead of adopting the traditional format of a closed workshop, the architectural design opted for a simple and open structure. This approach aims to establish a direct connection between internal operations and external elements such as light, climate, and the surrounding landscape.
