Two new royal apartments have been unveiled at Wynn Al Marjan Island in Abu Dhabi, each spanning approximately 1,460 square meters. These apartments are situated at the top of the resort's 70-story tower and represent the most spacious and high-end accommodation offered by the resort.
The Mayfair and Paris Apartments
These two residences occupy the uppermost floors of the tower and are the largest units within the Enclave boutique hotel concept on Wynn Al Marjan Island. Both apartments offer stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the Hajar Mountains. Each is equipped with seven bedrooms, numerous leisure areas, private bars, and dedicated meeting spaces. Inside the residences, dining services, spa treatments, salon services, entertainment, and personalized service are available.
The apartments have been designed to ensure guests maximum privacy from arrival to departure, with only these two residential units located on this level of the tower.
The creation of these apartments resulted from a collaboration between Todd Avery Lennon, President and Chief Creative Officer of Wynn Design & Development, and the globally renowned design studios Anouska Hempel Design from London and Pinto from Paris.
Lennon noted that the goal of this collaboration was to create spaces that transcend fleeting design trends while remaining relevant to modern luxury travelers. He stated that he sought out studios that pioneered many design principles still utilized in the highest levels of elite design for decades.
Exclusive furniture and design elements specifically created for these spaces were used in the residences.
The Paris Apartment
The Paris Apartment, designed by the Parisian studio Pinto, draws inspiration from the home of a 21st-century collector and global traveler. This two-story residence integrates unique creations, carefully selected works of art, and items sourced from various parts of the world. The arrival area features majestic columns, and glass surfaces reflect the sky and surrounding landscapes. Throughout the apartment, painted frescoes, high-quality artwork, and handcrafted items are integrated.
The design also combines exclusive pieces, auction finds, and market discoveries, forming an interior that reflects different eras and cultures. Pietro Scaglione, co-founder of Pinto, emphasized that 'the space consists of a mix of exclusive pieces, auction finds, and market discoveries, and it is this mix that makes it a traveler's space.'
The Mayfair Apartment
The Mayfair Apartment was designed by Anouska Hempel Design, which drew inspiration from private London residences. Classic planning, rich materials, and detailed craftsmanship are combined to create a space that feels both grand and intimate. The apartments feature an emerald green palette, used in lacquered panels, green marble, and detailed woodwork, contrasted by gilded accents. The design is inspired by stately London homes in the Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park areas. The name Mayfair pays homage to the London district and its association with exclusivity and elegance, as well as Anouska Hempel Design's London roots.
Lennon mentioned that 'Anouska created perhaps the first boutique hotels named after London landmarks, Blake's and Hempel.'
Like the Mayfair, the Paris Apartment is designed so that guests can access most services without leaving their residences. Dining, spa treatments, salon services, entertainment, and personalized service can be arranged in the apartments. Lennon concluded: 'The Mayfair and Paris Apartments are palaces in the sky. Everything is delivered to you. There are only two residences on this tower level, and every aspect of the experience has been intentionally designed with privacy, service, and personalization in mind.'
Both apartments are part of Enclave—a boutique lodging concept within Wynn Al Marjan Island. Enclave is located on the upper floors of the resort and features a private driveway, lobby, and dedicated elevators. No more than nine suites are located on each floor. The concept includes 313 suites across three accommodation categories: Mayfair and Paris Apartments, Townhouses, and Marina and Ocean Residences.
