According to preliminary data from Monday, the transit of cargo vessels through the Strait of Hormuz decreased to single digits daily over the weekend, which is significantly lower than the ten-day average of 14 vessels.
During this weekend, only four vessels exited the strait in the Persian Gulf, while ten entered, according to collected data.
It is important to note that the figures presented do not include vessels that may have crossed the strait with disabled Automatic Identification System transponders to avoid detection.
