Tensions between the US and Iran persist, and the sharp rise in oil prices is causing concern worldwide, especially among countries dependent on crude oil imports. Meanwhile, the US President continues work on his plan for Iran, which he has publicly hinted at.
Amid rising oil prices, Donald Trump stated that America could decide to remain in Iran, similar to Venezuela, and maintain control over oil reserves.
Military actions between the US and Iran continue, and tensions between the two nations have intensified again in recent days. During his visit to Ireland, US President Donald Trump unveiled his plan for Iran, dubbed the 'Trump Venezuela Plan For Iran.' He stated that the US could stay in Iran, like Venezuela, and hold control over oil. Nevertheless, he also proposed the idea of maintaining relations with Iran.
Addressing Donald Trump's statements, he noted: 'We will eventually leave Iran unless we decide to maintain control over the oil, as in Venezuela. The revenue America received from Venezuela repeatedly covered the costs of the war.'
Discussing his plan for Venezuela, Donald Trump also touched upon the topic of ending the war between the US and Iran. He expressed hope that the conflict could end this year, possibly in November. Previously, he had predicted a swift end to the war and a drop in oil prices after the US midterm elections.
The situation with diesel fuel prices in the US reached record highs, increasing Donald Trump's concern. However, during his trip to Ireland, Trump asserted that oil prices would sharply fall after the Iranian war ended, and the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel would significantly decrease.
Furthermore, Trump emphasized that America would only conclude the 'right agreement,' not just any agreement, and noted that Iran constantly calls for peace negotiations. Amid tensions between the US and Iran, crude oil prices continue to rise; at the time of publication, Brent Crude Oil Price was trading on the international market with an increase of about 3 percent, reaching $108 per barrel, while WTI Crude Price stood at $104 per barrel.
