The three-day meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple construction committee started in Ayodhya on Sunday. The committee chairman, Nripendra Mishra, inspected the work on erecting the monumental pillar and its landscaping.
According to sources within the Trust, the construction of the monumental pillar is nearly complete, and Nripendra Mishra inspected the site. Additionally, he inspected the landscaping work at the old temporary temple.
Later, Mishra held a meeting with officials and representatives involved in the construction and other projects in the Passenger Facility Center (PFC) auditorium.
Sources indicate that the committee will meet with construction agencies on September 13-14 to assess the progress of the temple construction and related projects, including technical aspects and upcoming tasks.
Discussions are also expected during these sessions regarding the construction of an outer protective wall approximately four kilometers long around the temple premises.
On September 15, the committee will hold discussions at the Ram Katha Museum. It is anticipated that the new Director General of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, will participate in the first meeting.
The 62-year-old Mishra was appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust as part of an administrative reorganization aimed at strengthening the Trust's operations.
Mishra is scheduled to return from New Delhi to Ayodhya on September 15, and his first official meeting with the construction committee chairman, Nripendra Mishra, is expected on the same day. He is set to receive information about the temple administration, current construction, other projects, and future tasks.
