Donald Trump stated that Volodymyr Zelensky must take certain actions, namely: stop the destruction of diesel fuel supplies in Russia. He made this statement in response to journalists' questions at the Open event in Ireland.
Trump insisted that such attacks lead to a shortage of diesel fuel and that they must be stopped. As a result of recent clashes between Russia and Ukraine, five civilians died overnight.
In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its air campaign, using ballistic missiles and drones. Attacks from Moscow are now targeting Ukraine's energy grid ahead of winter.
Just today in Nizhnekamsk, a major oil refining center in Russia, two people died and 14 were injured as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks. Recent attacks by Ukraine target Russia's oil and gas industry, which has already forced Moscow to introduce fuel rationing.
