Uzbekistan and Turkey held discussions on the further development of trade, economic, and investment interaction. The parties focused on efforts to increase bilateral trade, as well as on promoting joint industrial and investment projects.
During the meeting, Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Uzbekistan for Investment, Industry, and Trade, met with Beris Ekinci, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
Furthermore, the expansion of transport and interregional cooperation was discussed, as well as preparations for the next meeting of the Uzbekistan-Turkey Intergovernmental Commission. At the end of the meeting, representatives of both countries confirmed their readiness to deepen comprehensive strategic partnership.
