The national exhibition 'Made in Uzbekistan' is taking place in Seoul as part of the Uzbekistan-Korea Interregional Forum. The goal of the event is to demonstrate Uzbekistan's export potential in the South Korean market.
Organizers reported that the exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, features 69 types of export-oriented products from 32 large manufacturing companies.
Stalls showcase dried fruits and vegetables, natural juices, spices, legumes, confectionery, national dishes, and other food products. Guests can sample Uzbek dishes such as pilaf, moshkhichiri, nohat shorak, zhiz, and kovurdok.
Participants noted that Korean companies showed interest in dried fruits and vegetables, apricots, nuts, sesame, sunflower oil, chili peppers, coriander, confectionery, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Negotiations are currently underway with representatives of Korean trading companies, including E-Mart and Singshun LLP, regarding the supply of Uzbek products to the South Korean market, increasing trade turnover, and launching new joint projects.
Furthermore, the exhibition includes B2B meetings and business forums where entrepreneurs discuss commercial agreements, the development of trade relations, and prospects for investment cooperation. In collaboration with the Trade House of Uzbekistan in Korea, work is being carried out to implement new mechanisms for bringing ready and processed Uzbek products with high added value to the South Korean market.
