How to make collagen serum at home: a natural recipe to fight wrinkles and skin sagging

As we age, collagen levels in the skin decrease, leading to sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines. Expensive collagen serums available on the market can be unaffordable for many and may contain chemical components. In such cases, you can prepare a 100% natural, chemical-free collagen serum using ingredients found in your kitchen. This serum nourishes the skin from within, stimulating collagen production, which makes the skin more elastic, radiant, and youthful.

The following ingredients are needed for preparation: flaxseeds — 2 tablespoons, water — 1 cup, fresh or store-bought aloe vera gel — 2 tablespoons, Vitamin E capsules — 2, rose water — 1 tablespoon, jojoba oil or almond oil — 1/2 teaspoon.

First, you need to prepare the flaxseed gel. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water together with 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds to a boil over medium heat for 5–7 minutes. When the water becomes thick and viscous (resembling a gel), turn off the heat.

Strain the hot mixture through cheesecloth or a fine sieve to separate the flaxseed gel.

Next, in a clean bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of the prepared flaxseed gel, 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, and 1 tablespoon of rose water.

Then, add the oil from the Vitamin E capsule, as well as jojoba oil or almond oil. Thoroughly whisk all ingredients with a spoon for 2–3 minutes until the texture becomes thin and smooth, transforming into a serum.

Pour the finished serum into glass dropper bottles. It can be stored in the refrigerator and is good for use for 10–15 days.

Every evening, after washing your face, apply 3–4 drops of the serum to your face and neck, gently massaging them upwards.
