Elderly man kills snake and takes it to the hospital to show the doctor that it bit him

Generally, everyone gets scared upon seeing a snake, but an elderly man in Surat, Gujarat, did not panic despite being bitten by a snake. The snake bit him twice on his leg, after which the elderly man attacked the snake with a wooden stick and killed it. While going to the hospital for treatment, the elderly man also took the dead snake with him. He kept the snake in a plastic bag and reached Smimer Hospital in Surat via 108 ambulance.

This incident took place in Saniya village of Surat. Ashokbhai Kotadia, who was working at Ruda Industries, was suddenly bitten twice on his leg by a snake. Even after being bitten by the snake, Ashokbhai did not lose courage. He picked up a wooden stick and struck the snake, causing its immediate death.

Subsequently, Ashokbhai immediately informed the 108 ambulance service. However, before going to the hospital, he ensured that the body of the snake that bit him was safely kept in a plastic bag. Ashokbhai reached Smimer Hospital in Surat for treatment via the 108 ambulance, and he had that plastic bag containing the dead snake in his hand.

When the doctors on duty at the hospital saw the snake inside the bag, they were momentarily surprised too. The elderly man told the doctors that this snake had bitten him. Following this, the patient's treatment began. Currently, Ashokbhai Kotadia is under the care of the doctors and is receiving treatment. His method of carrying the dead snake in a bag to the hospital is astonishing people. However, in any snakebite situation, the first priority should be to obtain medical assistance in a safe manner. The final decision regarding the patient's condition and the identification of the snake should be made by experts only.
