A delegation of specialists from Uzbekhydroenergo JSC is in China as part of a program for exchanging technical and research experience. The purpose of the visit is to study the use of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, information security systems, and the development of intelligent hydroelectric power plants.
During the practical part of the program, the delegation visited the Yinglianbao hydroelectric power plant, located on the Dadu River in Sichuan Province. Specialists familiarized themselves with the application of solutions for automation, digital control, intelligent monitoring, and ensuring information security.
The visit also includes the exchange of practical experience in the field of efficient operation of digital technologies and data protection.
The Yinglianbao hydroelectric power plant has an installed capacity of 1116 MW. It is equipped with four main hydro units each with a capacity of 270 MW, as well as an additional unit with a capacity of 36 MW. Planned maintenance is currently being carried out on the 36 MW generator.
A water diversion tunnel about 15 kilometers long has been built at the station, intended for diverting water. The power plant itself is located underground.
Yinglianbao is one of the key energy facilities in the cascade on the Dadu River. Studying the experience of this station allows Uzbek specialists to consider the implementation of modern digital and intelligent solutions in the field of hydropower.
The application of Chinese experience in this area is expected to contribute to the digital transformation of Uzbekhydroenergo JSC, expand the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and strengthen information security measures.
