Censor Board prepares to view Salman's film, release date remains unknown

Fans' interest in superstar Salman Khan's film 'Matribhumi: Mere War Rest In Peace' remains high, as the release information has yet to be disclosed following an initial postponement of the release date. Although filming wrapped up several months ago, its debut was scheduled for April 10th but was subsequently delayed.

New information has emerged that the film is in preparation and awaiting presentation to the Censor Board. According to an industry source, 'Matribhumi: Mere War Rest In Peace' is nearly complete; work is currently ongoing on certain visual effects (VFX) elements. The creators will announce the release date once all relevant departments, including the CBFC, have screened the film. The Censor Board has not yet viewed the film, and further updates will follow once the movie reaches its final stage before public screening.

The film 'Matribhumi: Mere War Rest In Peace' is nearing completion, and it is expected to offer audiences unforgettable cinematic experiences thanks to the VFX work. After viewing by all necessary bodies, including the CBFC, the premiere date will be announced. Currently, the Censor Board has not reviewed the picture.

There are several reasons why Salman's film 'Matribhumi: Mere War Rest In Peace' has been postponed. Earlier reports mentioned issues related to the film's backdrop, as the movie is based on the Galwally battles between India and China, and delays might be linked to improving relations between these two countries. It was also discussed that the entire plot of the film had been changed.

Close to the original release date, the film also underwent reshoots. Then, there were discussions about production delays and rescheduling the release date due to the death of singer-actor Prashant Tamanga. Due to this combination of factors, the postponement of 'Matribhumi' was constantly discussed. Nevertheless, among these discussions, Salman showed his film to some prominent industry cinematographers, including Subhash Ghai, who attended a special screening. He later advised viewers to definitely watch this movie. Besides Salman, Chitrangada Singh will also feature in the film.

Telugu Star Naani Announces Plans for Film 'The Paradise': No Trailer and Focus on Domestic Market

The film 'The Paradise' by Telugu superstar Naani is generating significant interest in the South Indian cinema industry. Although the project features numerous stars from various regions of India, Naani himself does not intend to promote it as a pan-Indian film. Recently, at a press event, the superstar made several important statements regarding 'The Paradise.'

Regarding a trailer, it was announced that one will not be released. There are only two weeks left until the film's premiere. Typically, a trailer is released before a movie comes out, but in this case, the creators have decided to release the film directly in theaters. The reason for this is that filming has not yet been completed, a decision Naani personally confirmed.

Naani explained that the team is focused on refining the final result of the film because some scenes still need to be shot. He noted that releasing a trailer under the current circumstances would force the director, composer, and other key team members to divert attention from the remaining work. If asked what is more important—the trailer or the film itself—he would choose the film. Although he personally would like to create and release a magnificent trailer, the entire team has decided against its release given the current situation.

The Telugu superstar also emphasized that the decision to forgo a trailer was not made due to high anticipation surrounding the film. Naani stated that this decision is not based on preliminary audience enthusiasm. While there is high interest in the picture among the audience, the creators do not feel the film requires a trailer. They do not want to underestimate the viewers and do not rely on the film itself to attract attention without promotional materials.

The creators of 'The Paradise' are also aiming to move away from the concept of a pan-Indian project and focus on their domestic market, specifically the Telugu audience. Discussing the large-scale release and reach of the film, Naani shared the team's views on the multilingual distribution of the project. He clarified that they do not want to label it a pan-Indian film. The film will be released not only in Telugu but also in several other languages. Naani considers Telugu his main priority, and he hopes that viewers of other languages will also see and enjoy 'The Paradise' to its fullest.

The film 'The Paradise', produced by SLV Cinemas, is scheduled for a major theatrical release on September 24, 2026. It will be released in eight languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. Renowned actors such as Raghav Jual and Sonali Kulkarni will also star in the film.

In addition to his upcoming film 'Ramayana Part 1,' he is also starring in the epic film 'Love and War' by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Filming for this project continued for several months and was postponed multiple times, but the creators have shared good news with fans.

Filming for 'Love and War' officially wrapped up recently. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, announced this on the set. Now the entire team will focus on post-production. The creators also revealed the film's release date: after long delays, 'Love and War' will be released during Republic Day, January 21, 2027.

It is known that Sanjay Leela Bhansali's desire to present his films on a grand scale led to the delay of 'Love and War.' The director planned to add extra elements to the film. Originally, 'Love and War' was supposed to be released in March, but due to a conflict with 'Dhurandhar 2' and incomplete shooting, the release date was moved. According to available information, Sanjay Leela Bhansali planned to release his film in June 2026, but by then, filming had not been fully completed.

As for the film 'Love and War' itself, as the title suggests, it will be a romantic war drama featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. All three are considered talented actors in the industry, which generates high expectations among fans. It remains to be seen whether Sanjay Leela Bhansali can make this film a blockbuster, similar to his previous works.
