The Uzbekistan Agency for Cultural Heritage has announced the temporary closure of the Yunus Rajabi Museum to visitors. The reason for this decision is the inventorying of museum items and collections, as well as carrying out repair and restoration work.
It is planned that the museum will be closed from September 14, 2026, to May 30, 2027. As part of this project, the building will undergo comprehensive renovation and restoration, and the heating and cooling systems will be completely modernized.
Additionally, a new exhibition will be created that meets modern museum requirements, and the museum's overall infrastructure will be improved. After the completion of the planned work, the Yunus Rajabi Museum will reopen its doors to visitors.
