Peru has completed the internal procedures necessary for the protocol updating the Free Trade Agreement with China to come into force. This step is being taken against the backdrop of new US tariff barriers putting additional pressure on some Peruvian export goods.
This agreement is expected to contribute to the further strengthening of economic and trade relations between Peru and China.
