Uzbekistan and France Discuss Cooperation in Aviation and Education

The State Transport University of Uzbekistan held discussions in Tashkent regarding prospects for cooperation with France in the fields of education, modern technologies, and aviation.

The meeting took place with the participation of the French Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Walid Fouke, and Gulnoza Ismailova, chairman of the 'El-Yurt Umidi' foundation.

One of the topics discussed was the possible extension for another year of the grant that supports the work of the 3D EXPERIENCE center established at the university. This center functions as an educational platform for developing students' practical skills in digital technologies and engineering solutions.

The parties also focused on training specialists for the aviation industry. The possibility of providing five students from the State Transport University of Uzbekistan with training funded by a grant at Airbus and the National School of Civil Aviation of France (ENAC) was considered.

ENAC specializes in training personnel for civil aviation, offering programs in areas such as aeronautical engineering, pilot training, air traffic control, and other sectors of the industry.

The participants also examined the potential for expanding educational and professional opportunities for students through a partnership with Airbus.

Following the meetings, the parties agreed on the need to focus on further practical steps to develop current projects and implement planned initiatives. It is expected that the continuation of cooperation will contribute to the introduction of modern technologies into the educational process, the expansion of international study opportunities for students, and the support of specialist training for the transport and aviation sectors.
