In one of her podcasts, Khushi Mukherjee discussed the topic of casting interviews. She stated that some casting directors should be excluded from the industry.
The actress clarified that she never claimed that a girl must sign a one-month contract and sleep with someone during that time to get a job in the industry. Nevertheless, she admitted that she regularly receives offers for compromises in exchange for a role, and she firmly rejects such casting directors.
Khushi shared that she responds to these casting directors by telling them: 'If you want to sleep with me, do this: bring a double. Make a copy of my photo and stick it on this girl's face, pretend it's me.'
Expressing indignation towards the casting directors, she noted that there are uncivilized people in the industry who insist on compromises, claiming that they will have to make concessions. She expressed surprise at these demands, questioning whether a girl is a 'rotating object' that can be used for any compromise.
Khushi sharply criticizes such casting directors, calling them failures. In her opinion, after rising from the streets to star status, they start engaging in unethical behavior. She believes that such casting directors humiliate actors and questions how they can demand sex. According to her, this contradicts morality and is absolutely wrong.
