American Billionaires Occupy All Ten Top Spots in Bloomberg Index

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index data as of September 11, American entrepreneurs have occupied all ten positions in the ranking for the first time.

The leader of the list is Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, whose net worth is estimated at $919 billion USD. His capital has increased by $299 billion since the beginning of the year.

Larry Page, co-founder of Google, is in second place with a net worth of $286 billion USD. Following him is Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, with a capital of $274 billion USD. Sergey Brin, also a co-founder of Google, holds the fourth spot with a net worth of $266 billion USD.

Michael Dell, founder of Dell Technologies, is also in the top five. His net worth reached $245 billion USD, an increase of over $100 billion since the start of the current year.

The remaining spots in the top 10 are held by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, with a capital of $229 billion USD; Larry Ellison, founder of Oracle, with $208 billion USD; Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, with $181 billion USD; and Steve Ballmer, former CEO of Microsoft, with $172 billion USD.

Warren Buffett, an investor, occupies the tenth spot in the ranking, with a net worth of $144 billion USD.

Bernard Arnault, founder and head of the French conglomerate LVMH, is outside the top 10. According to Bloomberg estimates, his net worth is $143 billion USD, less than a billion dollars from Buffett's wealth. Furthermore, Arnault's capital has decreased by almost $65 billion since the beginning of the year, which was one of the most significant drops among the index participants.

This is the first instance since the index launched in 2012 when all ten leading positions were held by US citizens. Notably, all of them represent the technology sector, with the exception of Warren Buffett, whose wealth is classified as diversified assets.
