According to the National Statistical Committee, Uzbekistan's agricultural, forestry, and fisheries sectors attracted 26 trillion soums in the form of foreign investments and loans for fixed assets during the period from January to June 2026.
This sector accounted for 10% of the total volume of foreign capital and loans attracted in the country during the first six months of the current year.
Dynamics of investment in the agro-industrial complex
Investments in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries showed significant growth compared to previous periods. For instance, in January-June 2022, the investment volume was 3 trillion soums, in 2023 it was 2.4 trillion soums, and in January-June 2024 it was 6.1 trillion soums.
In 2025, the volume of attracted foreign investments and loans increased to 16.9 trillion soums, reaching 26 trillion soums by January-June 2026.
