According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, the share of residents of Uzbekistan aged ten years and older who use computers was 62.1% in 2025.
This indicator showed an increase of 13 percentage points compared to the 2017 data, as noted in the report based on household survey results.
Dynamics of computer usage
Computer usage has shown steady growth in recent years. In 2017, this figure was 49.1% among the population over 10 years old. In subsequent years, it increased: in 2018, it reached 49.7%, and in 2019, 49.8%.
The growth trend continued: in 2020, the figure rose to 52.5%, and in 2021, it reached 58.2%. In 2022, the share of computer users was 58.8%, and in 2023, 59.2%.
In 2024, 60.4% of the population in the corresponding age group used computers, and in 2025, this figure rose to 62.1%.
Thus, over the period from 2017 to 2025, the share of the population aged 10 and over using computers increased from 49.1% to 62.1%.
