The official press secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Randhir Jaiswal, shared on social media a photograph of a large public art project titled 'Samgam: Confluence of Cultures,' which became the center of attention at the summit.
This artwork was created collaboratively by artists from nine member countries of the BRICS group. The concept of 'Samgam' is inspired by the image of rivers flowing from different directions and merging into a single stream.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this large-scale art object is a living symbol of friendly relations, cultural exchange, and 'unity in diversity' among BRICS nations. The theme of the installation reflects the main theme of the BRICS Summit, held under the chairmanship of India: 'Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Self-Reliance/Sustainable Development.' Artists from the nine participating countries combined their unique styles and cultural features onto one canvas, creating a harmonious blend of various directions.
