Decathlon Sports India, which operates as a major retailer and manufacturer of sports goods, announced on Friday that its wholesale or Business-to-business (B2B) segment has expanded twentyfold during the past five years, contributing approximately 10 percent to the company's total revenue.
Financial records filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) indicate that Decathlon India generated ₹4,133.10 crore in revenue from operations for the fiscal year concluding on March 31, 2025; the figures for FY26 are still pending submission to the RoC.
Currently, the wholesale operation reaches over 20,000 postal codes throughout India, covering more than ninety percent of the nation. The company noted that regions classified as Tier 2 and Tier 3, including high-altitude areas such as Jammu & Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and the Northeast, account for over 40 percent of all B2B earnings.

The wholesale branch of Decathlon India is transforming into a comprehensive provider of sports solutions, broadening its reach to defense organizations, governmental agencies, and more than 20,000 corporate clients and entities.
Operating as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the B2B division of Decathlon Sports India has successfully processed over 1000 orders across various sports categories. These orders include the supply of high-altitude expedition tents, bicycles, footballs, and field equipment directly to upwards of 500 government organizations and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
Furthermore, the company supports the defense sector via CSD Army Canteens and the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB). In addition to these partnerships, it collaborates with over 20,000 corporate clients to facilitate workplace wellness programs and provide gifting solutions. The statement also mentioned that the company engages with more than 500 educational institutions, non-profits, and community foundations.
Raghwendra Singh, who holds the position of Wholesale Director at Decathlon Sports India, stated that wholesale functions as a fundamental driver of growth for Decathlon Sports India, currently contributing around 10 percent to the overall business. He emphasized that a strong B2B sporting environment is crucial for national development, noting that the company supports employee health across enterprise India while simultaneously reinforcing its domestic manufacturing supply chain through its «Make in India» initiative.
