The leaders discussed current problems of strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Armenia, primarily in the spheres of trade, economy, and investment.
The need to develop new joint projects in industrial cooperation was particularly noted. Furthermore, the President of Uzbekistan highlighted the importance of strengthening interconnectedness through the development of transport and logistics routes connecting Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
The head of Uzbekistan highly praised the efforts to quickly sign the Peace Treaty, which is a solid foundation for regional stability and sustainable development. A plan of measures for bilateral and multilateral formats, including the activities of the UN and the ICRC, was also considered.
