In the Rishhtan district of Fergana region, Uzbekistan, 204 head of breeding livestock were delivered from Russia.
According to the Food Safety Committee of Uzbekistan, the goal of this import is to develop animal husbandry, improve breeding methods, and increase the number of high-productivity livestock.
Specialists from the Fergana Regional Department for Food Safety inspected the animal housing conditions. They studied veterinary documents, checked the identification of the imported livestock, and assessed their general health, as well as their housing and care conditions.
Among the animals brought are Angus, Hereford, and other high-productivity breeds. The Committee noted that this import should contribute to increasing the livestock population, strengthening breeding potential, and improving overall productivity.
After completing the inspection, specialists provided the farm with recommendations regarding animal care in accordance with established sanitary and veterinary standards. Special attention was paid to proper feeding and care of the livestock.
