Localization of production in Uzbekistan opens opportunities for investors to enter the markets of neighboring states and the wider region, including Afghanistan, and in the future, Pakistan, stated Daler Iskandarov, head of the International Relations Department of Uzkimiosanoat company, at the CREON Household Chemicals 2026 conference.
According to him, Russian companies are already operating in the Uzbek market. Among major investors mentioned are Grass and Arnest Yunirus, who presented lines of household products for retail trade and the HoReCa segment.
Simultaneously, a project is being implemented in Tashkent to create a comprehensive production chain for household chemicals. In the initial stage, the plan is to produce liquid laundry detergents, cleaning agents, liquid soap, shampoos, and lotions, as well as diapers.
A subsequent stage of the project provides for expanding the range to oral care products, creams, lipsticks, and sunscreens.
The production center is planned for a 30-hectare plot in a special industrial zone. This project is expected to produce about 50,000 tons of products and 110 million finished goods.
The goal of this production complex is to combine the production of a wide range of household chemicals and personal hygiene products while simultaneously creating a basis for expanding investors' activities into regional markets.
