Dry and cool weather forecast for Uzbekistan this coming weekend

A drop in temperature is expected in Uzbekistan over the upcoming weekend. In most regions, daytime temperatures will fall to 25–30 degrees Celsius, although heat persists in the southern territories, reaching up to 35 degrees.

Today, dry weather prevails over a large area of the republic. Short-term rain is possible in some places in the Aral Sea region and Tashkent region, while the air will warm up to 32–35 degrees, and temperatures in the northwest are expected to be within 23–28 degrees.

Between September 11 and 12, the wind may strengthen locally to 13–18 meters per second, which could lead to dust storms in certain areas. Short-term precipitation is also forecasted in mountainous zones.

Forecast for Saturday and Sunday

The weather on Saturday and Sunday will be predominantly partly cloudy and dry. Daytime temperatures will be 25–30 degrees, reaching 32 degrees in some places, and up to 35 degrees in the south. No precipitation is forecast in the mountainous areas on Sunday.

In Tashkent, light short-term rain is possible in the first half of the day today, with air temperatures reaching 33–35 degrees. The capital promises partly cloudy and dry weather during the weekend. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 16–18 degrees, and during the day on Saturday—28–30 degrees, and on Sunday—30–32 degrees. An easterly wind of 5–10 meters per second will prevail.

According to forecasters, the working week in Uzbekistan will be characterized by no precipitation and warm temperatures. However, short-term rains and increased wind activity are expected in several regions.

Overall, the temperature regime in the coming days will remain stable: nighttime air is expected to warm up to 15–20 degrees, and daytime temperatures will reach 32 to 37 degrees.

By the end of the week, temperatures in the northwest of the country will drop, with daytime values falling to 25–28 degrees.

Rainfall and Wind Forecast

Short-term rains may be observed in some mountainous areas on September 7 and 11. Precipitation is also forecast in Bukhara and Navoi regions on September 10–11.

Weather conditions will become windier towards the end of the work week. From September 8 to 10, wind speed in northern and desert areas will be 7–12 meters per second. On September 11, the wind will intensify to 13–18 meters per second in some places, which may provoke dust storms.

Weather in Tashkent

In the capital, Tashkent, no significant changes in the weather are expected; variable cloudiness without precipitation is anticipated. Nighttime temperatures will be 17–20 degrees, and during the beginning of the week, the air will warm up to 32–34 degrees, after which it will reach 35–37 degrees. The prevailing wind direction will be easterly, with a speed of 3–8 meters per second.

According to Uzhydromet data, daytime air temperatures in Uzbekistan will remain in the range of +28 to +33 degrees Celsius until the end of the working week. In the southern regions, an increase up to +35 degrees is expected, while in the north, the temperature will be from +25 to +27 degrees.

At night and in the early morning hours, the prevailing temperature is forecast to be between +13 and +18 degrees. Most regions of the country will be characterized by variable cloudiness on the specified days, with no precipitation expected.

However, on Wednesday afternoon, light, short-term rain with thunderstorms is possible in some areas of Bukhara, Navoi, and Samarkand regions. There is also a forecast for the same phenomenon in the Fergana Valley regions and in parts of Tashkent region on September 4.

An increase in wind activity is expected across the country, reaching speeds of 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust storms. In the desert zone, gusts of wind up to 20–22 m/s are possible on September 2.

In Tashkent city, variable cloudiness without precipitation is forecast, but light, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible on the morning of September 4. Nighttime temperatures in Tashkent will be +15–+17 degrees, and daytime temperatures will be +28–+30 degrees with an easterly wind at a speed of 5–10 m/s.
