Brazil is a world leader in renewable energy, but the demand for it continues to grow. In the northeastern state of Paraíba, one of the newest large-scale wind energy projects in Brazil was implemented with financial support from the New Development Bank, also known as the BRICS Bank.

Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang stated on Friday that China and Russia play a significant role in maintaining the stability of the global energy market through the continuous expansion of cooperation in oil and gas amid a changing international landscape and frequent geopolitical conflicts.
He emphasized that the greatest advantage in the development of comprehensive energy partnership between China and Russia is the guidance of the heads of state. He called on both sides to continue following this guidance, deepening political mutual trust, strengthening strategic communication, and consistently increasing practical cooperation.
Highlighting that mutual benefit and mutually advantageous results are the fundamental drivers for energy interaction between the two countries, he noted that both sides have developed a model of cooperation that meets their interests. Cooperation in the field of energy resources and technological innovations has effectively stimulated economic development and improved people's lives in both countries.
Ding added that jointly overcoming difficulties is a characteristic feature of the China-Russia energy partnership. He recommended that the countries continue to use various mechanisms and platforms for cooperation, as well as properly address emerging risks and challenges to ensure the stability and uninterrupted functioning of the energy industry and supply chains.
Furthermore, China and Russia should jointly promote a true multilateral approach and contribute to creating a fair, equal, balanced, inclusive, and open energy governance system. About 400 people participated in the forum, including representatives from government agencies and oil and gas companies from China and Russia.
