PlayStation began the pre-sale of the themed DualSense controller for Grand Theft Auto VI this Thursday, September 10th. This limited edition, inspired by the new Rockstar Games title, will be sold in Brazilian retail stores for the price of R$ 599.90.
The special accessory is already available for pre-order at partner stores, such as Amazon and KaBuM. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on November 19th, coinciding with the release date of GTA 6 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The most notable aspect of this controller is its design, which evokes the atmosphere of Vice City. It features a glossy finish with a subtle sheen effect on the bottom and has textured details reminiscent of palm leaves. Furthermore, the Roman numeral 'VI' is prominently displayed on the D-pad area, and the action buttons are colored pink.
Regarding technical specifications, the manufacturer maintained the original functionalities of the controller, including haptic feedback, dynamic adaptive triggers, the built-in speaker, the touchpad, the USB-C rechargeable battery, and headphone connectivity capability.
The product is compatible with PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and various mobile devices. Internationally, the black and white models were presented during the State of Play event with a suggested price of US$ 84.99, which equates to approximately R$ 455 in direct conversion, excluding taxes. For consumers in Brazil, the cost of the limited edition in black is R$ 599.90.
The release date of GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, which has been on pre-sale since late June, also marks the arrival of this controller. While the Standard edition of the game costs R$ 449.90, the Ultimate version, which offers additional advantages, is available for R$ 549.90.
