Uzbekistan Gas Stations Earned 3.69 Trillion Sums in August

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported that fuel stations in Uzbekistan generated revenue from fuel sales amounting to 3.69 trillion sums in August.

During this month, the average daily revenue at gas stations was 119.1 billion sums. Despite daily fluctuations in indicators, the overall trend remained stable throughout August.

In the month, the total number of transactions registered at fuel stations reached 18,116,296, which averages out to 584,396 transactions daily.

Bank card payments accounted for the largest share of the average daily revenue, reaching 91.2% or 108.6 billion sums. Additionally, instant cards provided another 6.6%, or 7.8 billion sums, and fuel cards contributed 2.2%, or 2.7 billion sums.

In addition, air transport contributed 14.5%, and rail transport provided 9.4% of the total volume. The share of pipeline transport was 8.3%.

Textile production in Uzbekistan reached 61.1 trillion sums from January to July 2026

According to the National Statistical Committee, major enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile products worth 61.1 trillion sums during the period from January to July 2026. This figure demonstrates a growth of 17.5% compared to the same seven-month period last year.

Regional Production Statistics

The largest volume of textile production for the specified seven months was recorded in the Fergana region, amounting to 8 trillion sums. The second place was held by the Andijan region with production worth 6.3 trillion sums, and the third place was taken by the Kashkadarya region, which showed 6 trillion sums.

In the Khorezm region, major enterprises released textile products worth 5.6 trillion sums. In the Namangan region, this indicator reached 5.2 trillion sums, and in the Bukhara region—4.9 trillion sums.

Production in the Samarkand region amounted to 4.6 trillion sums. Similar to the city of Tashkent, the Surkhandarya region also registered product output worth 4 trillion sums. Meanwhile, the Tashkent region produced textiles worth 3.8 trillion sums.

In the Jizzakh region, the volume of textile production was 2.9 trillion sums, and the Karakalpakstan Republic registered production at the level of 2.8 trillion sums.
