Jeep achieved over 5,000 orders for its compact SUV, Avenger, during the first ten days of sales in Brazil, representing an average of 500 daily reservations. This performance, when combined with sales of the rest of the lineup, provided the brand with its best daily sales pace in five years, according to Stellantis, although none of these units have been officially registered as of the end of August.
Sales began on August 20. Fernando Varela, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Stellantis Brazil, stated that receiving over 5,000 orders, along with the results from the rest of the portfolio, resulted in the strongest ten days for Jeep in recent years.
It is important to note the difference between an order and registration: an order constitutes the formal manifestation of purchase intent at the dealership, while registration is the official recording of the vehicle in the Renavam, a process that only occurs after delivery.
The first registrations of the Avenger are scheduled for September, when the model will begin appearing in Fenabrave's monthly reports. The manufacturer indicated that demand was distributed across all trims but did not detail the breakdown of orders by price, configuration, or region. If sales were uniform across versions, the reservation amount would be R$ 669,950,000, approaching R$ 670 million.
In August, Jeep totaled 9,027 registrations, volumes derived exclusively from the Compass, Renegade, and Commander models. The mid-sized SUV, Compass, recorded 4,546 units and maintains the lead among mid-sized SUVs projected for 2026, with a total of 36,435 accumulated sales for the year. The Renegade accounted for 3,039 registrations, boosted by mild hybrid versions, and the Commander counted 1,091, remaining among seven-seater SUVs.
However, despite this peak, the brand continues to lose ground in the market. With approximately 75,000 vehicles sold in 2026 and a 4.24% market share in August, Jeep finished the month in eighth place among manufacturers, trailing competitors such as GWM and Honda, according to Fenabrave data. This scenario reinforces Stellantis' strategy of betting on an entry-level model like the Avenger.
The first deliveries of the Avenger to consumers are scheduled for the current month. In parallel, Jeep is preparing the 'Jeep Go' commercial campaign, which will offer special conditions for the Renegade, Compass, and Commander models, the details of which have not yet been disclosed.
Produced in Porto Real (RJ), the Avenger is the smallest Jeep model available in the country, featuring a length of 4.08 meters and a wheelbase of 2.56 meters. All its trims use the 1.0 turbo flex engine, which generates 116 hp and 20.4 kgfm, coupled with a 12V mild hybrid system and a seven-speed simulated CVT transmission. Prices range from R$ 114,990, a promotional value for the first thousand units of the Altitude version, up to R$ 145,990 for the Limited version.
