The CEO of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths, told Reuters on Monday that the company expects annual passenger traffic to reach 70 million by the end of 2026. This figure is lower than the previously set target of 100 million.
He also noted that 6.3 million passengers were recorded in July, which is a 26 percent increase over June's figure. Furthermore, he stated that capacity has recovered to 84 percent of pre-war levels, and passenger numbers to 78 percent.
Griffiths added that, possibly by the end of next year, they could reach the initial target of 100 million passengers if assessing the situation conservatively.
