Producers and processors of vegetable and fruit products, as well as greenhouse farms in Uzbekistan, will receive enhanced legal support. They will now be able to defend their rights in court using the opportunities provided by the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex.
According to the amendments made to the Law 'On State Duty,' this agency will represent the interests of these participants in the agricultural sector without the need to pay state duty.
How the new norms will be applied
The new provisions provide for the exemption of the agency from paying state duty when submitting applications to civil and economic courts. These applications can take the form of lawsuits, statements, or complaints aimed at protecting the legitimate interests of producers, processors of fruit and vegetable products, and greenhouse farms.
This will allow the agency to advocate for the positions of participants in the agricultural market in court proceedings, eliminating additional financial costs related to state duty for them.
Furthermore, it was noted that in the first half of 2026, 338.9 trillion soums were invested in the economy and social sphere of Uzbekistan. The main part of these investments was directed to the construction, agriculture, and industry sectors.
