Sindarov made a significant leap, advancing four places and increasing his rating by 10.6 points. Thanks to this, he overtook players such as Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja. The only chess player ranked higher than the Uzbek is Magnus Carlsen.
At the same time, another athlete from Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, showed the opposite trend, dropping one position to now hold thirteenth place. This player's rating is 2704.4 points. Thus, two Uzbek grandmasters are simultaneously featured in the top fifteen of the Live Rapid world rating.
It is important to note that the Live Rapid rating is updated continuously, meaning that players' rankings can change after any game concludes. It was previously announced that the men's national team of Uzbekistan reached sixth place in the FIDE world rating for the first time.
