On Wednesday, the 9th, Apple officially presented its new line of phones, including the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models. Although the external design of the devices remains practically unchanged, the company announced several important updates.
One of the highlights is the A20 Pro chip, which was produced using a two-nanometer process. This processor features a CPU composed of two super cores and four efficiency cores. The GPU has seven cores and offers 40% superior graphics performance, complemented by a 32-core neural engine. There was also a 50% increase in memory bandwidth.
To optimize temperature control, the A20 Pro is integrated directly into the vapor chamber, ensuring more efficient thermal management. Regarding battery life, the iPhone 18 Pro's battery is comparable to that of the 17 Pro Max, while the 18 Pro Max model offers up to 30 hours of use.
Additionally, Apple announced improvements in wired charging, allowing the user to reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes.
