The renowned actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini, along with actor Shreyas Talpade, have expressed high praise for the film 'Hanuman ANS'. Both believe that the connection with the audience contributed to such a positive reception of the movie. Since its premiere in India on August 7th, this spiritual drama has garnered support from both celebrities and viewers.
Hema Malini linked the film's success to the blessings of Lord Hanuman and congratulated producer Anupriya Nagar, who supported the project despite having no experience in film production. In turn, Talpade called the film's commercial success a true miracle.
This film, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, is inspired by the life and teachings of Nima Karoli Baba (also known as Maharaj Ji).
Speaking with media representatives, Hema Malini stated that the film's success is a grace of Lord Hanuman. She also noted the contribution of Nagar, who supported the project as a newcomer to the field of film production. According to her, thanks to the team's hard work, the film is resonating with the audience.
Malini said: 'There is a temple of Hanuman and Nima Karoli Baba. I always go there. And today I am very happy that they made a film about them. It became a hit. This is Hanuman's grace, I want to tell you. The woman who produced this film is an ordinary, simple girl. She doesn't even know what film production is. But thanks to her contribution, it turned out so good. Everyone wants to watch it. I want to see it too.'
Joining the growing list of celebrities supporting the film, Talpade noted that films are only successful when they touch people's hearts. He described 'Hanuman ANS' precisely as such a story. Speaking to the press, he emphasized that showing the film in theaters demonstrates an emotional connection with the audience.
He added: 'Stories must touch people's hearts, and only then can they achieve good commercial success. I believe that 'Hanuman ANS' is such a story that touched people's hearts. People feel a connection with it, which is why it is performing well at the box office. The film started earning in the third or fourth week. That in itself is a miracle.'
Commenting on the demand for a tax benefit for the film in Maharashtra, Talpade stated: 'I don't see anything wrong with this. If people like a film, and it is exempted from taxes, it will reach a larger number of viewers.'
This religious drama, which was released without much fanfare, quickly became popular due to word-of-mouth recommendations and growing public demand. The film earned over 170 crore rupees in India. Shobhinov Satya played Nima Karoli Baba, and Vikhan Shedge portrayed Maharaj on another stage of the story.
