The Apple Store is inoperative this Wednesday morning, September 9th. It is common practice for the company to temporarily suspend store operations in anticipation of major product presentations.
It is expected that at 2 PM today, the company will announce new iPhone models, including an unprecedented foldable device. Additionally, Apple is expected to present a new chip with 2-nanometer technology intended for the Pro models, as well as enhancements to the camera system of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. There is also expectation that the prices of the devices will increase compared to the current generation.
However, unlike past editions, the focus of the reveal will be directed towards the higher-value models in the line. The standard iPhone 18 and the iPhone 18e are only expected at the beginning of 2027.
The launch event will be available via live stream through the Apple portal, the Apple TV app, and YouTube. Tecnoblog will cover the presentation in real time.
