Meteorologists warn of heavy rainfall in five districts of Uttarakhand on September 10

It appears that there will be no respite from the rains in Uttarakhand, as the weather may deteriorate again starting September 10. Meteorologists predict the possibility of heavy and very heavy rainfall in several districts, as well as periods of heavy or very heavy rain with thunderstorms in various parts of the state.

According to Dr. CS Tomar, director of the meteorological service, there is a possibility of heavy or very heavy precipitation in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh on September 10. The need for special vigilance in these regions was emphasized.

Furthermore, heavy or very heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected in all districts of Uttarakhand. Due to these weather changes, citizens are advised to remain vigilant, and special caution is advised in mountainous areas during the rains.

According to the meteorological service forecasts, the rainy period, which will begin on September 10, may continue until September 14. Unfavorable weather is expected in many parts of the state during this time. Residents of areas with heavy rain are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and monitor weather conditions.

Given the high probability of heavy rainfall in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh, local vigilance is necessary. Especially during heavy rain in mountainous areas, people are urged to avoid walking on roads and near rivers and streams.

The consequences of previous rains are already visible in many places in Uttarakhand, so the forecast of further intensification of precipitation in the coming days causes concern. After the meteorological service warning, the administration and the population must exercise caution, as any negligence could lead to problems.
